First time flying- Patrina

August 28, 2017

Written by Patrina Krewson

For my first time flying, I’d say I am a natural. Arriving in Boston at the airport I was nervous for so many reasons; “will I be scared, or will I get sick?” The thought of sitting in one seat for such a long ride was equally as nerve racking. Being surrounded by so many friends helped a lot. I was even able to sit next to someone from the group on both flights over. I wasn’t as nervous for my arrival in another country because Abby and Jake had provided me with plenty of information. However, entering into Dar es Salaam, I was not prepared for the wall of humidity I was met with as I walked off the plane. I had not planned for humidity when I thought of how hot it may be. I have been blessed so far in this trip.
