Citing sources is really important, and the library is here to help make creating citations as easy as possible. By citing sources, your readers, especially your professor, will know where evidence supporting your argument came from. Use of cited sources also gives your original ideas more weight by showing you did your research!
For specifics on what citation style to use, consult your course syllabus or ask your professor. Librarians are happy to assist with basic citation questions, so do not hesitate to ask us if you need some help.
