Faculty Scholarship Celebration

At the annual Faculty Scholarship Celebration, scholarship from the year prior is recognized for a week in the Kreitzberg Library. The Celebration is part of the Faculty Senate Library Committee’s charge and organized in collaboration with the Office of Academic Research and Library faculty and staff.

The Celebration features displays of collaborative faculty-student summer research fellowship projects, faculty scholarly and creative works published or presented in the preceding September-August, and presentations on current work. A reception kicks everything off!

Scholarship Featured

The Faculty Scholarship Celebration includes:

  • Books, chapters, journal articles, poetry, or fiction that have undergone editorial or peer review prior to publication
  • Editorial work
  • Juried art shows
  • Encyclopedia and reference work entries
  • Presentations/papers/posters given at professional or scholarly conferences
  • Extended review essays, or overviews of the state of scholarship in your area, for peer reviewed journals, or the like
  • Faculty-student summer research fellowship projects from the summer
